A new member of the British Millionaires Club. Nobody knows who he is, only that he lives somewhere in the UK and played in the EuroMillions draw on Friday 23rd September. According to Camelot, the company that runs this raffle in the UK, the player who won the jackpot of €193,007,524 has already taken the prize.
After it is validated, the bookmaker receives the prize and will decide whether to remain anonymous or become famous overnight, surpassing, at least by the millions, his fellow countrymen such as Adele (whose fortune is estimated at 169 million euros) or Harry Styles (113 million euros).
The UK was the country with the most EuroMillions awards, having collected six major awards this year alone. The highest prize ever (218 million euros) was withdrawn on July 19 and went to a British bookmaker, who preferred to remain anonymous. In May, Joe and Jess Thwaite raised €206 million.
Grand prizes of €123 million were also awarded in early September, €122 million in February and €60.5 million in June. All winners preferred to remain anonymous.
