Starting on Monday (18), the Pernambuco Science Arena in Olinda will host the “Artificial Intelligence Exhibition”, with hands-on experiences about life in partnership with smart equipment. Programming in Space is free and is part of National Science and Technology Week, which includes activities focused on science and technology in several cities in the state.
Many experiences can be experienced alongside Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Espaço Ciência. One of them is the image that can measure the state of mind of the visitor and also the little robot living in the exhibition’s smart home, which answers any questions asked.
Other items belonging to the smart home itself will also be displayed and made available to interact with the audience, such as lights and televisions that are triggered with a simple voice command.
The experience of connecting with artificial intelligence can raise questions about how it can be used to help humanity solve practical problems, or, conversely, it can strengthen existing flaws in our society.
The event is free and will start at 10 am on Monday, both in person, in the educational building of Espaço Ciência, as well as on the youtube satellite channel, Espaço CiênciaPE. Attractions belonging to other poles across the state can be found at space science portal.
National Science and Technology Week
This year’s National Science and Technology Week has the theme of “The Intersection of Science, Technology and Innovation for Planet Earth,” and it has many attractions.
The event has been around since 2004 as a means of stimulating and demonstrating several nationwide scientific publishing initiatives among universities, research centers, federal institutes, and schools.
