Espaço Ciência, in Olinda, Greater Recife, has prepared a vacation schedule after nearly two years without such activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The museum will open in the open air, tomorrow, Monday (3), with new exhibitions and experiences, in addition to providing more than 20 workshops and special activities for the public. To enter, you must provide proof of vaccination. Programming is free.
In addition to participating in the outdoor trails, visitors will be able to check out experiences such as the Van de Graaff generator, an electrostatic machine that makes hair stand on end, the Faraday cage, used to protect electronic components from the harmful effects of electric current, and the harpsichord laser that demonstrates the relationships between music, physics and mathematics (See the video below).

The exhibitions “Minha Casa tem Ciência”, “Chemical History of Humanity” and “Artificial Intelligence” will also open. In addition, an exhibition will open about the world of water and experiments such as those in the field of mathematics, which will allow you to try to break the Australian record Feliks Zemdegs and solve a magic cube in just two seconds.
The special program also includes activities such as a kite competition, a boat trip, and scientific workshops in various fields of knowledge. In them, it will be possible, for example, to engage in treasure hunting, building kites, origami, polyhedrons, microscopes and making giant soap bubbles.
