The municipality of São Carlos has officially announced the return of public servants from the COVID risk group to work in person. Return begins next Monday (19).

A decree was issued on Thursday (15) specifying the dates and conditions for the return of employees of the direct public administration who had previously been vaccinated against the disease. (See the list below). The rule applies to servers 60 years of age or older and those with reported comorbidities in remote activity.

According to the city council, teachers and educators from day care centers in the municipal school network operating in municipal child education centers (Cemeis), in municipal basic education schools (Emebs) are excluded from returning, but working remotely. Municipal School for Education of Young People, Adults (Emeja) and Pregnant Women (Federal Law No. 14.151).

Employees aged 60 or over and employees with comorbidities who have already been vaccinated by anticipation due to the vaccination calendar, working remotely, and who do not return to work face-to-face by the specified date must provide a medical certificate certifying their inability to work , under pain of unjustified absence, informs the decree.

Medical certificates must be submitted at the Services Department of the Municipal Secretariat for Personnel Management (SMGP), located on Rua Episcopal (José Inácio Pioneer Floor), No. 1575 – Centro, within a maximum period of 3 working days after the date of return. If the absence stated on the medical certificate is more than 15 consecutive days, or interspersed within a 60-day period, the civil servant will be referred to the INSS medical expert to receive the potential benefits to which he is entitled.

Municipal civil servants must adhere to their working hours from Monday to Friday, at their workplaces, and the maximum percentage of 50% of civil servants must be respected from 7:30 am to 12:30 noon, and 50% from 1: 00 noon. up to 18 hours.

01/09/2021: Those who already received two doses (Coronavac, AstraZeneca, or Pfizer) or one dose (Janssen) between 01/08/2021 and 08/15/2021;

09/15/2021: Those who already received two doses (Coronavac, AstraZeneca, or Pfizer) or one dose (Janssen) between 08/16/2021 and 08/31/2021;

01/10/2021: Those who already received two doses (Coronavac, AstraZeneca, or Pfizer) or one dose (Janssen) between 01/09/2021 and 09/15/2021;

10/15/2021: Those who already received two doses (Coronavac, AstraZeneca, or Pfizer) or one dose (Janssen) between 09/16/2021 and 09/30/2021.
