D’ZRT is back and making unpublished discoveries… with Angelico and Miley Cyrus – Nacional

D’ZRT is back…or at least a copy of the original set. They promise to walk around remembering the past that united the band and who knows, maybe even back to concerts.

“We never had an end,” Edmundo Vieira said in an interview with Untold Stories Doing Rock in Rio. It ended up being “we had to” complete Paulo Ventim, referring to Angelico’s tragic death on June 28, 2011.

The conversation begins with ‘Morangos com Açúcar’, where it all began, including adventures on the road, adventures – such as the beginning of the relationship between Cifrão and Noah Wong – and unreleased concert photos – after arriving three hours late for a show in Barcelos – , meetings with fans … And of course the three will remember Angelico Vieira.

Edmundo, Sifrau, and Ventum will reveal how difficult it is to carry on after losing their friend, and how they are now dealing with pain and grief. But they also promise to remember the happy moments the four had.

Besides, it was the early death of Angélico Vieira that ended up separating the band that is now promising a comeback…one way or another. “We needed our time and now we’ll be back…” Vintém explained without saying if he would only be in these specials if there were future plans.

Right now, there are flashbacks… like the moment they debuted at Rock in Rio in 2006. “We knew the concert was going to be broadcast by SIC Radical. And we were scared because we’re from TVI. We were scared that they were going to do it. Correctly,” said Cifrão, who also remembers that recording ‘Morangos com Açúcar’ and doing concerts with D’ZRT was very difficult. “TVI was well defined: first there were Morangos, then concerts. And it was like that. We even had to log 12 hours and then we drove another three or four hours by car for a concert. Of course, we always arrived late,” recalls Cifrão, who He remembers the moment they showed up at the ‘Shrek’ concert while waiting for the band.

However, the singer still revealed an unprecedented moment that few people knew about. In 2010, the second time they sang on Mundo’s stage, they were invited to “take a picture with Miley Cyrus,” revealed Cifrão, who said the American singer was “amazed by Angelico,” he said between laughs. “I slept here,” he said, laughing with Paolo Ventim, saying he wouldn’t “say anything else.”
