DrUarte Ciuba was speaking today, March 22, with Julia Pinheiro. The TV presenter shared his life story, recalling the difficult process he went through to adopt his son.
“The father never showed up and the mother (…) signed a paper saying she didn’t want to know about the son,” he says, recalling that he spent five years in court to finish the process.
“I went so far as to say to my parents: ‘If they take Diogo from me, I’ll run outside, I’ll never come back here. Diogo became a part of my life, he knew only me and my parents could count on him. To be Diogo’s hero. I was the father, the friend and the boy who played With him, I am therefore the most important thing to Diogo. I had the charm of looking at him while he slept and I felt so proud to have a son,” he says, visibly moved.
The caller ended up being startled by the son, who accepted the invitation to speak with Julia.
