The teen has long been kept out of the spotlight. But at a campaign rally Tuesday night, the youngest son was introduced for the first time.

The 18-year-old, who was sitting in the front row, stood up, waved and pumped his fist at the audience – to a full house of cheers.

“This is the first time he has participated,” Father Trump said from the stage.

Barron was introduced with other members of the Trump family. Donald Trump joked that Barron was “more popular” than his brothers Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, write more American media.

“Welcome to the spotlight, Barron. He had a beautiful, simple life. Now that’s changed a little bit. One of a kind guy, huh?” Trump said during his 90-minute speech at one of his golf resorts in Miami, Florida.

Barron is Trump's only child with his third wife and former first lady Melania Trump, 54. She has long tried to keep Barron out of her father's political circus.

Among other things, Barron was scheduled to make his political debut as a Florida delegate to the Republican National Convention.

But those plans went down the drain when mother Melania later announced that her son had resigned from his post.

Now that the election campaign is heating up as November 5 approaches, Barron may still seem like one of Trump's many ploys.

It’s been just two weeks since Trump met his rival and 81-year-old President Joe Biden for the first presidential debate of the year. It ended in disaster for Biden and the Democrats. Now Trump wants to do it again.

“I challenge him to a debate this week,” Trump told the crowd.

And added an extra challenge for the president: 18 holes of golf. Independent.

Officially, the stage is not set for a new presidential debate before September 10.

The aborted trial

When Barron was nine, he was wary of leaving Manhattan to move into the White House when Trump was elected president.

In the following years, he attended schools in New York, Florida, and Maryland.

Barron graduated from high school in May.

Before Trump was convicted in the bribery case, he convinced a New York judge to briefly halt the trial so he could attend Barron's graduation in Florida.

Proud of his son

The father clearly expressed his pride in his son from the stage.

Trump boasted that Barron, who will start school in the fall, has gotten into every college he applied to.

“He’s a very good boy, I must tell you. That’s my boy!” he cried with obvious delight.

He did not mention the university that Baron accepted.
