However, this news was not only a surprise to the public, but it was the presenter of the program himself who resorted to Twitter to accuse the TV station of not communicating directly with Lemon about the decision to terminate the contract.

Earlier this year, Lemmon came under fire for saying that Nikki Haley, the presidential candidate, has already reached her “peak” at age 51 and that women are at their best in their 20s and 30s.
After these statements, the anchor was absent from the morning program for some time. Upon his return, he thanked the warnings and criticisms and apologized for what he had said.
However, soon after, he was accused of mistreating his classmates during his years at the CNN.
