aRope, often in the middle of the night and sweat-soaked sheets? It is a relatively common thing and can have different justifications. Therefore, Dr. Emma Derbyshire has listed some of the most common of these diseases in The Mirror.

1- Menopause

“It is one of the main causes of night sweats. Many women experience hot flashes and night sweats before, during and after menopause. This is thought to be due to changes in the production of estrogen and progesterone.”

2- Hormonal problems

“It may be related to night sweats. Examples include hyperthyroidism (high levels of thyroid hormones), diabetes, high blood sugar levels, and changes in sex hormones.”

3- Stress and anxiety

According to the doctor, “Anxiety, panic attacks, and stress are also common causes of night sweats.” It also states that “Mineral imbalances are common when sweating occurs frequently. Sweat has been found to contain high concentrations of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, and iron.”

4- Nutritional deficiency

In general, he adds, “a deficiency of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin D and vitamin B12, causes excessive sweating,” and unfortunately, “many of us suffer from vitamin and mineral deficiencies.”
