American watch brand Timex returns to Portugal through an agreement with Certora, which handles distribution in the Portuguese market.
“It is with great pleasure and pride that we announce the return of the Timex brand to the Portuguese market. Timex is a global reference in the watchmaking sector, with 170 years of history characterized by innovation, quality and timeless design. Bringing this brand back to the Portuguese audience is not only an important achievement for our company, but also a great opportunity to provide consumers with access to a brand that combines style, function and accessibility,” commented Miguel Rodrigues, Commercial Director at Certora.
In this return to the country, Timex brings with it two collections: Marlin and Q. According to Certora, the Marlin collection is characterized by its “retro and elegant design,” inspired by the 1960s, “with a minimalist style and refined finishes. The Marlin is ideal for those looking for a sophisticated timepiece with a touch of nostalgia.” This line reflects Timex’s heritage of creating timeless pieces Generations, combining a vintage aesthetic with modern reliability,” describes the distributor.
In contrast, the Q collection, first launched in 1979 and now revitalized, remains faithful to the sporty design and offers a quartz movement. The Timex Q line includes details such as a stainless steel bracelet and colored dials, “perfect for those who appreciate bold, contemporary style.”
