And the truth. Google Maps has another new feature and it will help us find everything we want on the map. Above all with the help of our personal tastes. The good news is that this is easy to do. In practice, all you have to do is find the site, assign a code and then start organizing everything in the way that works best for you. So we will explain how you can take advantage of the new features of Google Maps now.

It’s been a few days since Google announced that Maps got the ability to assign a custom emoji to saved places. This is so you can locate locations quickly and easily with a quick glance at the map. All locations saved in one list share the same emoji and it is possible to display multiple lists at the same time on the map. Previously, all saved places shared the same icon on Google Maps. Needless to say, this can quickly get confusing.

This new addition to Google Maps is very easy to configure. The first thing you need to do is start creating your list.

Imagine you want to create a list of restaurants or beautiful landscapes. So go to the first place you want to save.

Click on it and choose Save.

Then click New List. This is how you can add emojis to the list.

In fact, when you click on this option, you can add the name to the list, a description and then just click on the Choose Icon option.

At this point you will be able to enter the emoji you want. I put a pine tree because it’s a standout for the landscape. But if it’s about restaurants or other things like that, there are things that are more suitable.

Then you already have the list created with the respective code.

Then, if you wish, you can immediately create other lists with the respective icons. So, all you have to do later is fill out the list.

Everything you place there will then be reproduced on the Google Maps map. This way you will see the icon and you will immediately know what kind of place is there.
