In this study, Forbes analysts used the following criteria:
- Annual rental cost (broken down monthly);
- Annual cost of insurance;
- Rental service costs;
- Annual battery charging costs.

Analyzing the table, we can see that the Fiat 500e is again the best electric car, in this case in the category with the lowest consumption, next to the small electric car. However, the most expensive Italian electric car, closing out the top three, is the Renault Zoe.
