Global Media shareholders today appointed Diogo Queiroz de Andrade, Rui Rodriguez and Vitor Coutinho as new directors and the executive committee will be appointed “in the next few days,” a source linked to the process told Lusa.

Vitor Coutinho was a priest in the Diocese of Leiria Fátima and, since 2006, he divided his professional activity between university teaching and involvement in the management of companies and organizations. Sources linked to the process told Lusa that this should be the name referred to to head the Executive Committee.

He has been an assistant professor at Luciada University since 2023 and holds a doctorate in bioethics in Germany.

Diogo Quiroz de Andrade is a born journalist, author of documentaries and books, as well as a researcher and educator, and has been the Innovation Director at Global Media Group (GMG) since last year.

Roy Rodriguez has a degree in Marketing and Advertising, and since 2016 he has been Managing Partner of Vip House, a luxury construction and real estate development company. He was advertising director at TSF Porto, between 1990-1992, and commercial director of Rádio Comercial, Rádio Cidade, Rádio Nostalgia and Rádio Nacional (1997-1999), and also worked at TVI and Media Capital Rádios as commercial director, coordinator and commercial officer. (1999-2001), and through the RTC and RTP (2001-2003).
