In the second part of the ceremony, Diogo Alexander revealed his secret in the confessional:I am a Mormon and have taken a vow of chastity'. The contestant is associated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
“I have known this church for about a year, and the truth is that I have had several meetings with people in this situation who have been highlighted for carrying out and spreading the gospel. I taught Christian teaching, normally, I became an assistant, however, for some not so positive reasons, I ended up walking away from the church itself and spent many years without anything to hold on to. The truth is that there came a time in my life when I felt lost, empty, and without any essence within me. I was at a point where I went through severe depression and I ended up saying goodbye to where I was and (…) I continued to feel so empty“, he began to explain in a conversation with Cristina Ferreira.
Diogo Alexander broke up almost two years ago: “I really felt a huge void and I felt inside that I could be inside religion and searching for God again, which I had pushed away.“.
