Last Thursday night, the wrestling world was shocked when Triple H announced the news of Bray Wyatt’s death at the age of 36.
Soon after, the cause of Bray Wyatt’s death was revealed, after suffering a heart attack after contracting the coronavirus earlier in the year.
According to police records obtained by TMZ, Windham Rotunda told his fiancee he was going to take a nap in the afternoon, and she became anxious when, an hour later, she heard the alarm clock ring non-stop.
JoJo Offerman found Bray Wyatt in bed, not breathing and turning blue, and called 911 while his mother was attempting CPR. It is presumed that the fighter died at a later time, while he is already in the hospital.
Wyndham Rotunda’s family members revealed to police that he suffered from coronavirus in March 2023, and developed a series of heart complications, which left him with a “weak part” in his heart.
A week before his death, Bray Wyatt was hospitalized with a heart condition. He had an appointment the morning of his death, where he was advised to use an external defibrillator.
Although it is not known if the device would save his life, Wyndham Rotunda was not using a defibrillator when he had a heart attack at home, because he was inside his car parked on the road.
On last Friday’s SmackDown Live, WWE paid Bray Wyatt several tributes and tributes, which were multiplied on social media by many other Superstars.
Wrestling PT once again extends its condolences to Bray Wyatt’s family and friends.
