The influenza vaccination day mobilized seven basic health units (Fazenda 1, Rio Bonito, Itaipava, Jardim Esperanza, Santa Regina, Centro Vila and Ciudad Nova 2) in Itajaí. Throughout Saturday (13), 1,332 doses against the disease were provided to the target population, in addition to 604 doses of other types of vaccines available in the national immunization calendar.

Through the vaccination that took place on Saturday, Itajay reached 13,167 doses administered to people who are part of the priority groups identified by the Ministry of Health. The city's goal is to vaccinate about 50,000 people by May 31, when the campaign ends.
