aLille's eyes will be on the Danish Royal House the day after Queen Margrethe (83 years old) surprisingly announced her abdication, leaving the throne to Crown Princes Frederik and Mary.
And now the future Danish queen is once again getting fashion glory.
During another “New Year's treat” on Thursday, she appeared in an outfit we've seen before.
Specifically, this was the same outfit she wore in 2018.
The silk skirt is from Australian brand Rachel Gilbert and the velvet jacket is from Jesper Høvring from Denmark – one of the future queen's favorite designers.

Thursday's look was completed with a handbag from the luxury brand Bottega Veneta.
The future queen has worn it on a number of occasions since 2010.
Today, a similar handbag from the same luxury fashion house costs just over 40,000 Norwegian kroner.
These were the biggest trends of the year
however:
– Crown Princess Mary has put sustainable fashion on the agenda for a number of years, and here she shows us once again that it's not just empty words, Caroline Vagel tells KK.
She is the expert of the Royal House of Se og Hør.
– The outfit is exactly the same as it was in 2018. But she also wore the jacket and skirt separately on other occasions, giving a completely different expression. Many have a lot to learn here. Clothes can appear new in different combinations without having to buy anything new, Vagle says.
Now this trend is back
-Actually, I liked both parts more when she wore it with other clothes. Taste and comfort. But still, I don't think Mary is wrong at all. She is always classic, elegant, and the queen of style!
Then the site UFO no morewho writes about royal fashion, took a closer look at the prices of clothes worn by members of the royal family last year, and the Crown Princess ended up… Way down the list.
– Will there be as much focus on recycling now that you're queen?
She is 18 years old
– Many believe it will be less. I think I'll stick to it myself. She really loves green fashion, and that doesn't go away even when she becomes queen. Her mother-in-law also often reuses the role of queen. But since Marie's new role means more work and acting, there will likely be more new clothes than usual. Fagel explains that, among other things, the new royal couple will follow tradition on official visits.
She believes that the future queen will certainly have a completely different style of expression than Queen Margaret, who is now abdicating.
– Just as she did in her years as the princess's custodian. While Mary has a classic and elegant style, Margaret is more colorful and playful. After all, she's had a side job as a fashion designer and decorator for years, and her artistic creativity likely reflects her wardrobe. Perhaps the daughter-in-law cares more about the fashion that her clothes reflect.
