The royal family has been the focus of much attention in recent months. Initially it was the princess's wedding that was in the spotlight, before Marius Borg Hoebe (27 years old) was accused of violence against several of his ex-girlfriends.
Now presenter Frederik Solvang (47) invites the crown couple to the program “Debatten” on NRK to discuss the ongoing case.
-We have a lot to talk about
On Monday, a number of competitive celebrities gathered at the Lucky Bowl for the annual Bowling Celebrity Invitational. Among those keen to compete was Solvang, who was able to reveal that he would welcome the Crown Prince couple with open arms, if they wanted to enter a debate.

-Do you have someone you wish would be in the “debate”?
– Right now, it would have been good if the Crown Prince couple had come. We have a lot to talk about, he says and adds:
– I think that the Crown Prince, the Crown Prince, or both could come. “Everything that happened around Marius and the family, of course we had to have them as guests to talk about,” Solvang tells Netafine.

Crown Prince Haakon, 51, recently remained silent when asked questions about the current situation. Crown Princess Mette-Marit (51 years old), for her part, has been criticized for not commenting on the matter yet.
Perhaps it's not surprising, then, that Solvang wanted the crown prince couple to appear in “The Debate,” given their silence.
When Netavisen met with the Crown Prince couple in September, the Crown Princess did not want to answer questions about Hoebi.
“Out of respect for everyone involved in the case, I ask you to understand that I do not wish to comment on the case at this time,” Crown Princess Mette-Marit responded at the time.

Days later, the Crown Princess faced questions about how she responded to criticism over her silence
-I'm fine with those criticisms, she replied then.
