Hamas kidnapped Noa Argamani, 26, on October 7 last year when the militant group attacked a music festival as part of a larger attack against Israeli targets.

She was held captive for 245 days, before she and three other hostages were rescued by the Israel Defense Forces on 8 June. She is now speaking publicly for the first time since she was rescued.

“Even though I am home now, we cannot forget the rest of the hostages still being held by Hamas, and we must do everything we can to bring them home,” she says in a two-minute video played during a protest in Tel Aviv, Israel, on Saturday. CNN.

– Don't you dare go to their houses.

– My biggest concern

Argamani continues in the video to say that she feels proud to be back with her family.

– As an only child – and as the daughter of a terminally ill mother – my parents were my biggest concern while I was in captivity, she says, according to what she was quoted as saying. CNN.

Hamas kidnapped about 250 people on October 7. More than 100 hostages have been handed over to Israel in connection with the ceasefire agreements, but many have also been reported killed. The fate of more than 100 hostages remains unknown. More than 1,000 people also lost their lives in the attacks.

Caught in the movie

Argamani’s kidnapping was filmed on October 7 and has gone viral around the world. The video shows the 26-year-old being taken away on a motorbike. Her boyfriend was also abducted.

– I want to take this opportunity to remind everyone that there are still 120 hostages, including Avinatan Or, my partner from whom I was separated during the kidnapping, says Argamani.

While protesters fill the streets of Tel Aviv every week, attacks and fighting in Gaza continue apace. Many Israelis believe the government is not doing enough to rescue the last hostages, and want a ceasefire agreement.

Discontent in Tel Aviv

Protesters allegedly set fire to car tires and set fires in the middle of the street during a demonstration on Saturday in Tel Aviv, according to the report. CNN.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last Sunday that the most intense phase of the war in the Gaza Strip is about to end, but so far there are no signs of the success of the attack.

The Prime Minister has received severe criticism from his countrymen, as well as from other world leaders, because of the war against Hamas, and because a ceasefire agreement has not yet been reached.

The situation for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip is extremely dangerous due to the intensive attacks and the Israeli blockade that prevents the entry of emergency aid. Alarm bells have been sounded about famine, water shortages and the spread of diseases.
