to BT . newspaper Confirms The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said that actress Angelina Jolie (46 years old) is visiting Ukraine as a special envoy of the United Nations.
Rumors spread that Jolie would be in Ukraine after a video clip appeared of the actor in a cafe in Lviv.
The video was first posted on Facebook by Ukrainian journalist Maya Pidhorodetska:
Now, Reuters news agency has published several photos showing that Jolie is in the war-torn country.
Among other things, Jolie is said to have visited the train station in Lviv, which was an important refugee center throughout the war. There she is said to have spoken to volunteers, psychologists and refugee children up to the age of ten.
– They must be in shock. I know how trauma like this affects children, and how important it is for someone to show them how valuable they are, and the actor is said to have told one of the psychiatrists who voluntarily worked at the train station, according to Reuters.

The Hollywood star has for many years been actively involved in humanitarian work around the world as a United Nations Special Envoy. Last month she visited Yemen.
It is still not known exactly what Jolie will do during her visit to Ukraine, but so far the photos indicate that she will pay special attention to the refugee crisis.
The United Nations reports that more than 5.4 million Ukrainians have fled their homeland since the Russian invasion two months ago. Tens of thousands leave Ukraine every day.
The United Nations estimates that the war could lead to 8.3 million refugees by the end of the year.
