In “Cacao”, Rosa (Mafalda Tavares) tells Tomani (Salvador Neri) and Valdemar (Vítor Hugo) that Soraya (Paula Neves) is still lying down and doesn't want to get up. Valdemar tells Tomani that they have to get involved with Soraya, now that they saw on the security cameras that Simone (Alexandra Lencastre) was home yesterday, and they have a witness who saw her buying Soraya. Tomani seems very disappointed with Soraya.
Tomani tells Waldemar the story of Lola (Anna Bostorff) taking the pills to Justino's room yesterday with a glass of water Soraya gave him, with Rosa confirming that this really happened, as well as the fact that their witness saw Soraya break a glass in the kitchen. Waldemar tells Tomani that everything increasingly points to Soraya's involvement in Justino's death, and she needs to find out what diamond Simone gave Soraya. Tomani is completely devastated about Soraya.
Valdemar asks Lola to leave him alone with Soraya, and immediately attacks her for being with Simone yesterday before Justino's death. Soraya trembles violently.
Soraya denies that Valdemar was with Simone on the night of Justino's death and claims that she has always protected the family. Tomani shows the diamonds in her room, which only Simone can give, leaving Soraya trapped.
Without escape, Soraya confesses to Tomani and Valdemar that she accepted Simon's bribe to give Justino a glass of some substance, but regretted it and managed to stop him from drinking it. She says that Jaime (Sergio Praia) and Salomao (Paulo Pires) can confirm the story. Jaime enters the kitchen and Valdemar says that he arrived just in time.
