Club World Cup: Fluminense wins over Al-Ahly (2-0) and reaches the final

Fluminense beat Al-Ahly of Egypt 2-0, but the Club World Cup semi-final match was not easy for the Brazilian team, the Copa Libertadores champions.

The Egyptian team, the African champions, played a good first half and had some chances to score, but they lacked the offensive quality to overcome veteran goalkeeper Fabio.

Fluminense also created goal-scoring situations and hit the posts twice, but only managed to score from the penalty spot, after Marcelo won a free-kick in a match with Percy Tau.

Colombian John Arias successfully executed the penalty kick in the 71st minute.

The two coaches changed their teams, and Swiss Marcelo Koller took advantage of the opportunity in search of equality, and Fernando Diniz took advantage of the opportunity to witness substitute John Kennedy scoring the quiet goal in the 90th minute.

Fluminense is looking for its first world title after its first title in the Libertadores.

Al-Ahly postpones its dream again after falling in the semi-finals for the fourth year in a row!

The Egyptian club won the title of African champion 11 times, but never achieved international glory. In reality. Not even in the final.
