Castelo Branco Digital Diary – Castelo Branco hosts the International Festival of Science Communication

Paint of Science is the largest international science communication festival, and this year will be the seventh edition in which Portugal participates. Once again Pint of Science takes scientists out to bars to give relaxed presentations about the science they're developing. The aim of this festival is to help simplify science and make it accessible to everyone.

Pint of Science started in the UK in 2012 and arrived in Portugal in 2018, always with the aim of accompanying science in a good cup of conversation.

In Portugal this year, the festival will be held in 12 cities: Aveiro, Braga, Coimbra, Guimarães, Horta, Leiria, Lisbon and Porto, which this year are joined by newcomers Castelo Branco, Almada, Bragança and Faro.

From neuroscience, astronomy and biology to botany, engineering and history, all sciences are welcome at Pint of Science.

The full program has not yet been released, but will be available soon at www.pintofscience.pt or on social media (@pintofsciencept).
