BYD electric vehicles arrive in Portugal
BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of electric vehicles (EV and PHEV), is preparing for its first public appearance in Portugal at the ECAR SHOW – Hybrid and Electric Motor Show, which will be held from May 12 to 14, at FIL – the international fair of Lisbon.
At the ECAR SHOW, BYD will have three 100% electric models that will go on sale in Portugal – BYD ATTO 3, BYD TANG and BYD HAN – allowing exhibition visitors to get to know the brand’s first-hand vehicles. BYD ATTO 3 will also be available for a test drive.
BYD is also offering invitations to the event on the brand’s social networks (@byd.portugal, on Instagram and Facebook), so anyone interested can come and see the models first-hand.
The ECAR SHOW will be the first official event in which BYD will participate, after its recent arrival in Portugal, by the Salvador Caetano Group, which is the official representative, distributor and responsible for marketing and after-sales services in the national territory.
BYD’s range of electric cars is available in Portugal this month
The BYD range in Portugal, which will be available to domestic consumers later this month, contains three models:
Expressive and dynamic C-SUVBYD ATTO 3, the seven-seater SUV with all-wheel drive BYD TANG and the elegant and sporty sedan BYD HAN.
The highlight is the BYD ATTO 3, which was designed and conceptualized with European customers in mind, standing 4.5 meters long and boasting a 204 HP engine. The model is equipped with a BYD Blade 60.48 kWh battery, allowing for a range of up to 565 km (WLTP urban cycle) and charging from 30 to 80% in just 29 minutes.
With a modern, sophisticated aesthetic, the model stands out for its industry-leading electric vehicle technology and intelligent connectivity, and also features advanced technology in driver support systems and premium equipment as standard.

in PortugalTwo levels of BYD ATTO 3 equipment will be available, ‘Comfort’ and ‘Design’, the latter being the first to hit the domestic market.
On the other hand, BYD TANG offers a unique offer in the market, which is a 7-seater, 100% electric SUV with a length of 4.88 meters, two engines ensuring all-wheel drive with a power of 516 hp.
With impressive performance – acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.6 seconds and 528 km of city driving range (WLTP). With a spacious cabin, premium technology, standard equipment and a wide array of safety systems, the model revolutionized the concept of zero-emission family vehicles.
Portuguese consumers will also have access to the BYD HAN, a sports sedan that is also the flagship of the brand’s range of high-performance electric vehicles.
The model offers high performance in 4×4 driving, thanks to an aerodynamic drag coefficient of just 0.233 cd, which contributes to a range of up to 662 km (WLTP Urban Cycle),
