Bosch is looking for 100 volunteers to test innovative technology in Braga – Technologies

“We want to challenge people to join this research project, and in turn help Bosch in the process to find new solutions that improve the rider experience in light of the new opportunities that V2X technology presents – the communication between vehicles, people and infrastructure,” says Ricardo Pessoa, Project manager at Bosch Car Multimedia.

“We are working for a safer and more comfortable movement from Braga to the world, and this is also an opportunity for these participants to contribute to the future of mobility,” Pessoa adds.

The experiment will be carried out “in an immersive environment using a large curved display, in which different scenarios will be used to test the driver’s perception of danger warnings communicated from human-machine interaction devices, which are acoustic warning cues and tactile and visual cues that drop signals onto a screen mounted in a helmet.”

The examinations will take place at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Minho, Campus de Azorem. In Guimarães, with each participant invited to a test that will last about 60 minutes and must take place in the next month.

To participate in this test, you must have experience driving a motorcycle and be between 20 and 60 years old. Interested parties can participate in Location, until October 15.
