Born 15 years ago in Braga, Forte Store opened number 50 in Portugal

Born in Mire de Tebes, Braga, 15 years ago, by Nuno Forte, at that time he was an economics student with a passion for the fashion world. It started with opening stores in the surrounding areas, invested in malls, and within a few years, the Forte Store chain had become a constant presence in the consumer visual group in the north of the country.

To celebrate its 15th anniversary in October, the chain announced to O MINHO that it will open its 50th store in Portugal on Saturday, located in Ovar, in the Vida Ovar Shopping Centre.

With a portfolio that combines high-end fashion brands, such as Calvin Klein or Armani, she currently has stores in all major cities and towns in Minho, as well as in Trás-os-Montes and in the Aveiro district. There are also some points of sale in the south, including in the Alentejo.

In a statement sent to O MINHO, the brand’s CEO, Nuno Forte, clarified that although the goal would be to cover the entire country. “Not yet Limit To achieve this goal,” that is, they want “things to happen naturally.”

The CEO believes that in a few years, it may herald the opening of the 100th store in Portuguese territory, after expanding into Iberian territory on the Spanish side.

“Internationalization is something that we are seriously considering, especially for the Spanish market. Before the pandemic we had an opportunity that did not materialize, but I am not surprised if for a while we had stores in Spain,” says Nuno Forte.

The entrepreneur leaves his brand slogan: “I want our customers to see us as members of their family. I want that closeness! How we sell clothes
The whole family, I think this is the right concept to follow.”
