DrAfter the conclusion of the fourth season of “Love is Blind” (“Blind Wedding”, in Portuguese), Netflix has announced that it will create a cast reunion episode that will be broadcast live on the platform. Unfortunately, it seems that the company’s plans did not go as expected.
In addition to the one-hour delay, technical issues prevented thousands of Netflix subscribers from watching the “Love is Blind” episode live – prompting the situation to be reported on Twitter and the DownDetector website.
“For all those who stayed up late, got up early, or booked on a Sunday afternoon…we are really sorry that ‘Love Is Blind’ didn’t work out as well as we planned. We are filming now and will be releasing the episode on Netflix as soon as possible.”can be read in the post shared on Twitter.
It should be noted that this is not the first time that Netflix has bet directly on this format. Chris Rock’s latest comedy special — “Selective Rage” — was broadcast live, and at the time, there were no known technical issues.
