Biophilia in Contemporary Brazilian Architecture in 7 Projects
Biophilia, or the love of life and nature, is a concept that has inspired architects around the world to create spaces that closely relate to natural elements. These architectural projects seek to reintroduce them into the built environments, resulting in spaces that promote well-being, health, inspiration and even productivity. In the Brazilian case, the possibilities are even greater, given the climate and the abundant vegetation that we find in the different biomes present in the country. In this article, we will explore seven projects from different programs that embrace the concept, enabling the coexistence of architecture, humans and nature.
