Benfica takes Ricardo Araujo Pereira to the psychoanalyst – Celebrity

After the Reds lost the Portuguese Championship, Europa League and Portuguese Cup in 15 days, the comedian asked for help.

Ricardo Araujo Pereira was a guest on the 'Um Homem Não Chora' podcast and made a surprising revelation: Benfica's defeats have actually sent him to a psychoanalyst. It all happened in 2013, when the team coached by Jorge Jesus, within 15 days, lost the national championship with a defeat (2-1) to FC Porto on May 11 – Kelvin's goal in the 92nd minute -, Europa League – defeat (2- 1) Against Chelsea in Amsterdam on May 15 – and the Portuguese Cup – on May 26, the Reds lost (2-1) at the Jamor Stadium to Vitoria de Guimarães.

The 49-year-old comedian said losing those three competitions left him “very shaken”. “Note that this coincides, I think, with the moment when the BES case broke out, and I realize that I also lost some change: it did not hurt me, it did not shake me,” Ricardo Araujo Pereira admitted.

The SIC star ended up seeking help from a psychoanalyst, but admitted he felt ridiculous. “It doesn't make sense, especially for me, the person who has… my luck. I'm ashamed to be here. I finished it as quickly as I could,” the comedian concluded.
