“How is the old man doing?”: Brazilian journalist reveals Gabigol’s question about Jesus

Brazilian journalist Eric Faria, of Globo, revealed on the social networking site Twitter part of the content of a conversation between Gabigol and Marcos Braz that took place on Christmas Eve. Now, as in the festive season, the name-calling began specifically with wishes for merry christmas, before the striker asked the million-dollar question, the question all Flamengo fans are eager to know.

“How’s the old man doing?” Gabigol asked Marcus Prause. In an apparent reference to Jorge Jesus, who is specifically known as “The Old Man” within the Rio group. According to Eric Faria, Prause explained the situation, the conversation ended there and “the night of the cod went on.” Also according to the journalist himself, other than Gabigol, no other player named Marcus Braz has been to know the situation regarding the search for a new coach.
