Ball – The Seven Lions placed by Robin Amorim in the main teams (Sporting)

Joao Balenha and Nuno Mendes were the first, and Gonzalo Inacio will be the last. In the two years prior to Sporting, Ruben Amorim had already placed seven players in the main teams of their countries. All the youngsters, of course, are all betting hard on the Lions and all, of course, in high esteem since the 37-year-old took charge of Leo in March 2020.

A year after leaving SC Braga for Sporting, Rúben Amorim has seen the first bets come to a head: on March 24, 2021, in the first round of Group A qualifying for the World Cup, against Azerbaijan, Nuno Mendes, launched by Rúben Amorim into the first team in the June 2020, he first appeared on the national team and then as a player. In that same match, in the 88th minute, Joao Balenha also added his first hat.

Four days later, also in a qualifying match, Pedro Borro, in his first year with Sporting, added his first international for the Spanish main team, starting with Luis Enrique’s side with Georgia.

The season did not end without Sporting’s contracted top scorer Ruben Amorim, who has also been called up to the national team, with his presence in the European Championship: Pedro Gonçalves.

This season, Ugarte, appointed by Famalicao, added his first matches for Uruguay, and his second in the early hours of yesterday. Closing the range, the name of Goncalo Inacio who, having missed the first call-up of Fernando Santos due to injury, was part of the selector for matches with Turkey and North Macedonia, despite being overtaken from the match sheet. The first show has been postponed.
