Ball – Premier Clubs will remove ads from betting sites on the front of the shirts: What if they were here? We Went To See … (The League)

Premier League clubs are close to an agreement to remove advertisements for betting sites from the front of shirts, where the group is most prominent (see related news).

There are currently eight out of twenty Premier League clubs that have a website/bookie as their main shirt sponsor – none of them from the so-called ‘Big Six’ (Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham) – as Newcastle and Fulham (expire contracts at the end of the season) or Wolverhampton, Everton, West Ham or Brentford.

Starting with this news, we looked at the Portuguese reality, that is, how many clubs have betting sites as the main sponsor on the front of the shirt. Not only is the percentage much higher (12 out of 18, i.e. 66.6 percent of clubs) compared to England (40 percent), but two of the big three (FC Porto and Sporting) have this record on their equipment. SC Braga.

Below you can see the list and the six exceptions, which are Benfica (Emirates), Arauca (Controches Carlos Pinho Elda), Vizela (Vizela – Vizela – Secrets of the Valley), Gil Vicente (Barcelos), Portimonense (Eve Ceremony, Japanese Events Company) and Marítimo ( coral beer).
