Audi has just announced the availability of its Function Store in Portugal, an innovative platform that allows Audi owners to add additional features even after purchase. This digital store can be accessed via the myAudi app or online at my.audi.com.

The Function Store is primarily aimed at customers with a billing address in Portugal, but is also available to Portuguese residents abroad and any Audi customer with a billing address in the EU.

Audi owners will be able to explore a wide range of additional features, covering areas such as lighting, driver assistance and the infotainment system. One of the most prominent features of the platform is the option to test the functionality before making a final decision, with the possibility of booking a trial period of one month. During this period, customers can choose to extend their booking as needed, with different subscription periods available. If you decide not to extend, your reservations will automatically expire at the end of the specified period.

Customers can also transfer functionality to the new owner of the vehicle in the event of a sale, thus maintaining continuity of the experience. The necessary hardware for the activateable functions is installed at the factory in all Audi models, ensuring that the functions are available throughout the entire vehicle life cycle.

Bookings and payments can be made securely through the app or online, using payment methods such as PayPal, Mastercard and VISA. After booking, an authenticated data packet is sent to the car via the mobile network, activating the new function the next time the car is started.
