Not one, but three gaming laptops. That was the number Asus brought to the table today, betting on the latest 11th generation Intel Core H series processors, up to the i9-11900H, and graphics up to the GeForce RTX 3080.
In addition to the latest hardware, there’s a certain innovation at ASUS, which includes a fully self-cleaning cooling system to prevent dust from accumulating in fans and heatsinks, reducing their efficiency.
ASUS ROG Zephyrus S17: dare to have it all
Of all the laptops presented today, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S17 is definitely one that delivers all that a gaming laptop can offer for those who demand performance and competitive advantages.
We can equip it with an Intel Core I9-11990H processor with 8 cores and 16 threads up to 4.9 GHz as well as a GPU NVidia RTX 3080. The AAS Plus now delivers 10 degrees of cooling, moving massive fans of 84 Arc Flow blades, which excel in silence. But with temperature control, the fans are completely off for totally quiet operation.
As comfort continued to be provided, the second screen disappeared and the keyboard was retracted closer to the large 17-inch screen, adding to the comfort of the wrists. Then a “multi-wheel” comes into effect allowing access to various notebook configurations. The keyboard includes mechanical switches and the screen can be selected in WQHD or 4K panels, with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz with G-SYNC technology.
It is also worth noting that the internal storage capacity is up to 3 TB with RAID SSD HyperDrive Ultimate drives and fast battery charging. And that’s not bad for a monster that is only 20mm thick.
