Associated Press journalist honored with ‘Robério Nobre’ award: ‘highlights the importance of science’

On Friday (21) the ceremony of the second edition of the Amapá Prize for Science, Technology and Innovation “Robério Nobre”, which was awarded to researchers, professors, students, start-ups and communication professionals, was held. “Firstly, it is a great honor to be able to receive my first professional award after 10 years of journalism talking about science, a topic that I really like and which is very important. I think this recognition is another way to validate and highlight the importance that science places on the development of the country and Brazil and the world,” Fabiana said.

In all, 13 prizes were awarded during the ceremony, with the first place in each category and subcategory being awarded a reward, a trophy and a certificate.

The award is organized by the Amapá Research Support Foundation (Fapeap), affiliated with the State Department for Science and Technology (Setec). Minister Rafael Pontes expressed Fabib’s pride in rewarding those who do so much for the country.

“The Robério Nobre Prize is a cry of salvation for science, technology and innovation. This is the request of each of you, who, together with all of us, make our educational institutions research and the expansion of our state the power that leads to training in higher education and the scientific and technological development of Amapá.”
