Apple Watch Series 7: You can now pre-order the new generation of smartwatches from Apple – Equipment

After the launch of the new iPhone 13 family and iPads, which were revealed at Apple’s latest event, the Apple Watch Series 7 has a “debut” date of October 15. The new smartwatch can already be booked from today, its price in Portugal starts at 439 euros, it is available in five different colors and with a new set of bracelets.

The new generation of smartwatches promises to withstand the most ostentatious drops and has a larger screen than previous versions. The Apple Watch Series 7 has a 40% smaller bezel than the previous model, confirming rumors of a Rounded edge design.

Apple Watch Series 7 frames are made from 100% recyclable materials. The smartwatch’s buttons have also “grown” to keep up with the increase in screen size, which, according to Apple, contains 27% more visible text. It will be possible to type on an on-screen virtual keyboard, like smartphones, thanks to a machine learning system that tries to predict and complete sentences.

Durability was one of Apple’s concerns, which included tempered glass and IPX6 certification, giving the smartwatch more water and dust resistance. The smartwatch promises to be faster in charging than the previous generation, while accounting for greater autonomy.

On the new Apple Watch 7 “tour”, Apple talked about some Fitness+ news, including new virtual trainers and fitness classes, with guided meditations now available. Apple says new workouts will be updated weekly. The new Group Workout mode supports multiple users simultaneously, who can compare results, arriving at the end of the year on a smartwatch.
