Apple wants to launch new functionality in Maps that will let you order delivery, book hotels, and more

Information indicates that An apple It intends to revamp its navigation application by introducing new features to make users’ experience more complete. Apparently, the developer should release functions in the application that will allow you to order food for delivery, make reservations in hotels or restaurants and check the schedule of nearby cinemas.

These functions should only be available in participating organizations, bringing together in one iOS or iPadOS app the services most requested by consumers. Apple on Wednesday (11) launched the Business Connect tool for businesses to customize how their information appears in Apple apps

According to the developer, businessmen can use this new service to change the position of the establishment on maps, add photographs of the location, create special promotions for customers and a button to make reservations. This novelty was launched in the United States and there is still no expectation of its arrival in other countries.

“We built Business Connect to provide Apple users around the world with the most accurate information about where to eat, shop, travel and more,” said Eddie Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services.

Eligible business owners can use their Apple ID to sign up for the Business Connect platform (click here) using a laptop or computer.

“Apple Business Connect is designed with small businesses in mind, giving them the same access and ability to customize their digital presence as global brands. Business Connect complements other Apple services designed to help small businesses grow and reach customers,” the company notes.
