Apple is preparing a tool to create custom emoji using artificial intelligence

a Apple is about to announce a partnership with OpenAI, a collaboration that will help Apple integrate artificial intelligence (AI) technology into its iPhones.

This information was provided by Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, who noted that the presence of this artificial intelligence will be manifested in the features of iOS 18, the next update for iPhones that will be announced at WWDC – Apple's annual event dedicated to developers that will be held in June.

Gorman says iOS 18 will integrate AI into apps like Photos and Notes and also into notifications, with Apple planning to launch a tool that, using this technology, will let you create custom emojis.

“The premium feature will bring generative AI to emojis. The company is developing software that can quickly create custom emojis, based on what users type. This means you'll have brand new emojis for every occasion, in addition to the catalog of options that Apple currently offers on iPhone and other devices.“, Gorman writes.
