Apple announces an event for May where it will showcase the new iPad

Apple announced that it would hold a special event the next day May 7 Under the slogan “Leave it loose”. Although the North American tech company did not address its content, it is practically certain that we will learn about the new iPad Pro and iPad Air.

Invitations sent by Apple confirm that the event will be entirely online and will be released from 3pm in Lisbon. As always, the broadcast links that will bring us the news prepared by the company will be revealed in due course.

Apple leaves loose

The iPad Pro, iPad Air and Apple Pencil are expected to be the biggest news at Apple's event

And from the images accompanying the invitation, it is clear that a new generation of Apple Pencil is on the way. If you pay attention, you can see this accessory featuring the colorful Apple logo.

According to rumors, this new version of the Apple Pencil will feature Find My network integration and tips that can be magnetically exchanged to simulate different writing and drawing tools.

Another new feature will be implementing a tap gesture on the accessory. The advantages that this will bring to users are something that has not yet been revealed.

But what will get the most attention from Apple and fans is the new iPad. In particular, the new generation iPad Pro which, apparently, will finally have OLED displays.

Once again, we will offer two models with 11-inch and 12.9-inch screens. This new generation will be thinner than its predecessors.

As for the new iPad Air, a new 12.9-inch version will be added, with a micro-LED screen. In addition to this model, the traditional 10.9-inch version will be unveiled.

It should be noted that all iPad models mentioned should have M3 processors. Therefore, these models will be more powerful and efficient than those currently available on the market.

To conclude the set of expected news, we also have to talk about the new Magic Keyboard. The new accessory “will make the iPad Pro look like a laptop and include a stronger aluminum frame.”
