The 2023 Annual Tours take place at the Estádio Municipal de Braga and António Salvador, as host, has made some remarks about the event and left some actions that he considers important for the improvement of professional football.

“I believe that we have before us the most important years in the history of professional football in Portugal. It is a task that does not allow for tactical calculations or specific interests, but it must have a single and exclusive agenda, which is the agenda of professional football and its huge challenges,” he began by stating, then setting seven goals: Determining the distribution key for broadcasting rights. It would be very negative if it were not for professional football and its leaders to close this case. Concluding, and anticipating, if possible, a process of centralization of broadcasting rights, which would greatly increase the universal value of these same rights. It would also be very worrying if The leadership of professional football has not achieved this; increasing the internal and external competitiveness of our professional football, which means having better and more contentious competitions, allowing our competitiveness in Europe to be also greater and not limited to four upset representatives.Expanding and internationalizing our professional football Increasing and diversifying sources of income Anticipating, preparing and training Portuguese professional football for new international competitive cycles, anticipating the major changes that football will face in the coming years Renovating and modernizing facilities, renovating and Modern way of contacting the public, strengthening the position of professional football not only in the sports industry, but also in the entertainment industry.

Antonio Salvador considers that “the response to these goals will be crucial to the growth of Portuguese football and that any error or failure in this process will lead to the irrelevance of the Portuguese league and its sports associations”.
