Antonina is 40 years old, from Ukraine It was already filmed in these TV formats ‘the sound’. “Nine years ago I applied to “The Voice Ukraine”I passed blind exams and got into fights, but then my participation ended there,” he says, explaining his feeling: “I was sad, but it was a good experience. “The Voice” is always a great show that I keep with fond memories.”
Nine years later, in a different country, in a language she still doesn’t speak, and living here for only two years, Antonina describes her RTP1 talent contest experience as “different”. “Now I’m more mature, I face things with a different attitude, I’m calmer. And then people become very affectionate and sensitive. And so am I. Not speaking Portuguese was not a problem.The guides immediately made themselves ready to speak to me in English,” he confirms.

In the last years, Antonina passed through Turkey, Egypt and Japan (a country he describes as “another planet”), before landing in Portugal, in Invicta, where I found a new profession and I found love. But don’t be fooled if you think Antonina has fallen in love with Triero on seven sides. “My friend is Ukrainian and I met him in Porto”Explaining what he’s doing, he says:I came at the age of 38 to study tourism under Erasmus, but I switched to performing arts, in Lusófona.” That’s while you’re struggling to learn Portuguese.
