The influencer was arrested after police raided his home.

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been arrested in Romania on suspicion of fresh offences. BBC reports.

The brothers were questioned by Romania's special organised crime unit, DIICOT, after police searched their homes.

Andrew Tate is already accused of setting up an organised crime network in Romania and Great Britain with his brother Tristan, as well as human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of several people.

He now faces further charges.

According to the Attorney General's Office, this could include sexual contact with minors, human trafficking, money laundering, and attempts to influence witnesses.

Tate is known for his misogynistic views.

Romanian authorities have announced the trial of the two brothers, but the date has not yet been set.

Andrew and Tristan Tate, who have a large social media following, deny all previous allegations against them. They were first arrested in Romania in December 2022, and were released from house arrest in August 2023.

“Wait until you see,” Andrew Tate shouted to reporters as he arrived at the DIICOT building in Bucharest.

“They say I manipulated the mother of my children. We tricked them into having children,” the BBC wrote.

The brothers' lawyer, Eugene Vidinyak, told the BBC that he had not yet seen the case papers and that he did not know what the new charges were exactly.
