“Obi-Wan Kenobi” premieres May 27 on Disney+. To celebrate and anticipate the series’ arrival, the streaming service has prepared a special event for Friday night.
In the northern region of Parque das Nações, in Lisbon, the “largest drone training show ever in the country” took place and SAPO Mag followed it all up and spoke with one of Dronisos’s display technology, French Fabrice N’Kom.
“The event marks the start of the countdown to the debut of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ on Disney+, which will take place on May 27,” the platform said in a statement.
The show, which had never been seen before in Portugal, had the collaboration of a team of professionals who created the drone segment at Disney’s D-Light Show, at Disneyland Paris.
“We are very proud to present to the skies of Lisbon, the first UAV training show to be held in Portugal,” Luis Fernambuco, Managing Director of The Walt Disney Portugal, says in a statement sent to SAPO Mag.
“There are 300 drones that worked in perfect harmony, in a choreography unique in the world, made exclusively for this event, which reflects the commitment of The Walt Disney Company to our country,” he added.
