Amazon permanently banned 600 Chinese brands for fraudulent comments

For no apparent reason, some brands that provide electronic devices have started to disappear from Amazon. Names like Aukey, Mpow, and RavPower, which is responsible for providing electronic gadgets, are examples that are no longer part of the platform.

But now the mystery has been exposed and Amazon has revealed that it has permanently banned 600 Chinese brands that have violated the online sales police with fraudulent reviews.

Amazon bans 600 Chinese brands for violating online selling rules

According to the information revealed by Amazon to the site the edgeThe platform has banned more than 600 Chinese brands in 3,000 different seller accounts. The reason is that these brands violated Amazon's online sales policy due to fraudulent reviews.

This information justifies the sudden disappearance from the platform of some names of tool providers, such as Aukey, Mpow, RavPower, Vava, TaoTronics and Choetech. But that was only a small part of what was to come.

All brands were counted after 5 months of 'cleaning'. According to an Amazon spokesperson, these 600 brands were banned because they intentionally, repeatedly, and significantly violated Amazon's policies regarding review rules.

This stance on the platform started when companies like RavPower started offering gift cards in exchange for ratings for their brand.

according to The Wall Street JournalThe company then offered vouchers worth $35 (about 30 euros) to rate a product sold directly by Amazon.

Therefore, the goal of these brands was to give a false perception that their products have positive reviews in the online store. This will increase people's confidence and purchase of those same products.
