Sony has been trying to provide more in-depth information about PlayStation Portal on its official website over the past few days. Many doubts remained in the air after last week’s announcement, as most of the features were not explained.
Now, PlayStation has created a page dedicated to mobile, where it explains some of these issues: how the connection works, the need for PS Plus and the quality of the resolution rendered in the gameplay.
All about the PlayStation portal

Sony revealed that the laptop will be available in 2023. At the moment, there is no specific date set.

Is it compatible with PS4 and PS5 games?
PlayStation Portal is compatible with all games that you have installed on your PS5 system. It is important to remember that PS VR2 support is not offered through the hardware.
Same technologies as DualSense

What if someone needs to use the TV?
After establishing a Wi-Fi connection with a speed of at least 5 Mbps (15 Mbps ideally), someone else can work quietly on the TV you’re playing your PS5 on. This does not interfere with console access.
Will only home Wi-Fi be accepted?
PlayStation Portal can access your PS5 system from anywhere in the world, as long as your Wi-Fi connection meets the above requirements. So it is useful even outside of your residence, yes.
Do I need to subscribe to PS Plus?
PS Plus membership is not required to use PlayStation Portal features. However, if the game needs the service to access the multiplayer, then obviously a subscription will be required.
Game streaming won’t work on laptop
Even without the PS Plus Premium level enabled in Brazil, please note that subscription-based streaming games will not be available through PlayStation Portal. The device will only be able to access titles installed on the PS5 SSD.
