AirPods Max noise canceling affected by the latest update

AirPods Max noise canceling affected by the latest update

If you have the latest AirPods Max, try checking the Active Noise Canceling system. Do you notice differences from what you were just a few months ago?

This is probably due to the recent update that Apple provided to the device.

Apparently, the latest update presented to AirPods Max will slightly reduce the quality of Apple’s active noise cancellation system, making the functionality less impactful. The report was initially confirmed by the portal RTings.comAnalysis of the latest 4E71 update provided to the device confirmed that ANC came with some changes.

According to the source, the system now reduces external noise less, which is something that some users may feel noticeably. The difference is not significant, but it will be enough for some users to feel it during normal use of AirPods.

The source notes that the system now blocks out less noise in the mid-range and bass range, which translates to fewer sounds to be actively blocked from outside. It should be noted that this problem only occurred after the 4E71 update.

This range of sounds is equivalent to engine sounds, car noises and the like, so users can see a greater impact from them after the update. So far, Apple has not officially confirmed any changes to this system.

It is also important to note that the change is very small, and some users may not feel it at all.
