American actor Lance Reddick, who starred in films and TV series such as “The Wire”, “Fringe” and “John Wick”, died Friday, at the age of 60, his publicist announced.
Publicist Mia Hansen said in a statement that Riddick died “suddenly” this morning, and attributed his death to natural causes.
Best known for playing Police Lieutenant Cedric Daniels in “The Wire” (2002), Riddick was most recently involved in promoting the fourth film in the “John Wick” saga, playing the Continental Hotel’s “concierge,” Charon, and is set to make his debut. Once on March 24th.
Riddick has been involved in more than 100 audiovisual projects, including the TV series “Bosch” (2014-2021) with his role as Irvin Irving over 60 episodes, or “Fring” (2008-2013), where he gives life to Agent Philip Broyles. in 90 episodes.
Another symbolic work in his career was the role of Detective Johnny Basil in the HBO series “Oz” (2000).

The American actor had also planned to star in the ‘spin-off’ of ‘John Wick’ – ‘Ballerina’ – currently being produced and starring Ana de Armas.
