Sarah Everard, 33, was reported missing on March 3. She was then on her way home on foot after visiting a friend in an apartment in south London.
The following week, policeman Wayne Cousins, 48, was arrested in connection with the disappearance case.
– Deputy Chief of Police Nick Efgrave said when the man was arrested that we have a suspect about police jobs in the capital, which is shocking and deeply disturbing.
A few days after his arrest, Everard’s body was found hidden in a wooded area of Kent, southeast of London.

During today’s court hearing, Cousins pleaded guilty to the kidnapping and rape of Everard. to me Watchman He also “accepted responsibility” for the murder.
The murder shook England and led to demonstrations and debates about the safety of women.
The trial is expected to begin in October.
