Acer brings to the Acer @ Next event new Chromebooks and eco-friendly devices

no event [email protected]As the company delivers news that will hit the market in the coming months, Acer has launched a series of new Chromebooks, devices for creative professionals working with 3D designs – ConceptD, a line of green devices from the Vero green segment, which uses PCR plastics and gaming products from Predator line and antimicrobial products.

The event was called “Made for Humanity”, and its main motto is to protect the planet and the environment, and among the main points it focused on adapting to hybrid work, therefore, the brand launched a range of hybrid products.

As for the antimicrobial category, the brand has launched the Acer Enduro Urban N3 laptop and the Enduro Urban T3 tablet, which both contain active molecules that kill microbes. It also launched the Acer TravelMate Spin P4, an antimicrobial convertible commercial device aimed at people who are always on the go. This latest model is expected to arrive in North America next January.

As for the ConceptD line, Acer highlighted SpatialLabs, a program specifically designed to help professionals in the most creative fields create 3D projects. SpatialLabs Go uses artificial intelligence to automatically convert 2D content into stereoscopic 3D, namely in videos, photos, games, or even a webcam feed that has been projected onto its screen, “without the user needing to wear glasses for this purpose, similar to what is already happening with Nintedo 3D Portable Console”.

The company also introduced the Acer Chromebook 514, Chromebook 515, and Chromebook Spin 514, and showed how they’re all so simple. The 514 and 515 are available in 14-inch and 15-inch sizes, respectively, and the Spin is convertible. The Chromebook Spin 514 comes with Intel Tiger Lake UP4 processors, and weighs 1.37 kg, relative to the MediaTek chip.
