The Braga striker was called up by Luis de la Fuente for the matches against Georgia and Cyprus
Abel Ruiz is back in the Spain national team. The Braga striker is part of the list issued by coach Luis de la Fuente a short while ago, with the aim of participating in the qualifying matches for the European Nations Championship 2024, against Georgia and Cyprus, on the 8th and 12th of this month, respectively.
The 23-year-old striker has two presences at La Roja, both of which are registered in 2021. And it must be remembered that in statements to Marca released on Thursday, Abel Ruiz acknowledged his expectations: “For the coach, the truth is that my presence in the Champions League is important, Because I compete against the best. My dream is to enjoy the squad.” Certainly, Abel Ruiz is already back in the Spain national team.
Like Ricardo Horta (Portugal), Joe Mendes (U-21 of Sweden) and Hornicek (U-21 of Czech Republic), Abel Ruiz will miss La Liga which is scheduled for Saturday 9th.
